The long, atypical period of quiescence during previous Solar Cycle 24 that many astute and honest researchers have attributed to a Deep Minimum on a scale that of the Maunder or even greater is now being broken by the immense tidal and electromagnetic effects of K2 which will increase in direct proportion to its proximity as it races towards perihelion.
